Why did Oprah leave Obama's church?
Newsweek magazine has just published a new article purporting to explain why Oprah Winfrey left Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago years before the Jeremiah Wright controversy began. But Oprah's decision to quit the church long ago has led some critics to wonder aloud why Barack Obama didn't leave too.

He's back. The Rev. Jeremiah Wright rounded off his weekend media tour with a nationally televised speech to 10,000 attendees at an NAACP dinner in Detroit on Sunday. It was the third time since Friday that the minister has drawn headlines for his remarks.
