First Lady Michelle Obama heritage is shining through. She is following the role of many ancient Egyptian Queens such as Ahmose Nefertari, Pharaoh Hatshepsut, Queen Tiye, Queen Nefertari and others. They are members of the world's first civilization which lasted for 3000 years. America we are truly blessed.

She was great, I unblocked "Fixed Noise"{ as I can tolerate Huckabee and he was quite a gracious host and they had a nice, warm conversation on issues that affect us all. I doubt if this would have worked with any of the other "Fixed News" folks, which by the way Huck, I doubt if any black folks "watch" that daily hate news/lie fest.

I am inclined to believe that the best thing about the Obama presidency is Michelle Obama. She is doing us proud as black women, black people, representin the best of the black family and the best of America/Americans.

That was no interview. That was Huckabee's attempt to see how many softballs he could pitch to Obama. One would think that when he had the accomplice to the one trying to turn America into a communist country, he would actually delve into deep issues and search for truth.

A rare, civil, interview on FOX. Huckabee is usually a gentleman though. Mrs. Obama is a class act and a great First Lady for these times.

Fox news knew better than to combat the first lady with a aggressive partisan based interview. This would have made Huckebee seem like a wimp (picking on the First Lady instead of the president)and would have proven all of the pro republican based accusations that fox news is known. How Huckebee and Fox news handled that interview was actually very smart on their part. Ps. I love our first lady Michelle Obama!!

Huckabee seems to be the only so called Christian GOP voter that has had some home training and doesn't carry the hate that so many of them have, the interview showed him ar his best and her as well, good stuff, but, sadly, something seldom seen on Rup's right wing farce.

While I admire the first lady I'm a bit disappointed that she would give an outlet like Faux News the opportunity to be legitimized in the mainstream. Didn't this very same network refer to her as "Obama's baby mama" during the campaign?

Michelle Obama's premise is that poor people are overweight because healthy foods are not readily available in their local grocery stores.Then why not use the free market to establish large stores that provide healthy foods like other people.(Wegman's,Tops,etc) This is she and Obama's way of redistributing millions of our tax dollars. It is also another way to continue class war fair.Perhaps it is that some poor people do not have their priorities straight-food ,clothing and shelter. Many of them receive food stamps,WICK,SCHIP, SSI and HEAP.She is assuming too much.Who and how will this money be distributed? Is she going to check what people buy? Secondly,if availability is the cause of obesity,what is her excuse when she has gained weight? She has all the money to buy available healthy foods. She even has chefs to cook it and people to serve it. It is a person's resposibility to push themselves away from food. Mind your own business,Michelle. This is all smoke and mirrors to redistribute our tax money.What other first lady used millions of tax dollars as a cause to supplement her husband's socialistic view of health care? tjr's response has become the standard charge against those who oppose obamas policies - if you're against obama you must be for palin. what an absurd notion. there's your "celebration of ignorance". the fact of the matter is that there are healthy food options in most low income neighborhoods. in addition to the mega supermarkets (such as pathmark or foodtown) virtually every low income neighborhood in nyc also has at least one, but usually several, korean produce markets and produce carts on every third corner. unfortunately, many parents, those with overweight children in particular, line up not at the produce stands to purchase inexpensive healthy food options, but rather at mcdonalds, kfc, popeyes, etc. michelle obama's "battle" against childhood obesity is an SEIU backed plan geared toward increasing their membership by unionizing more school cafeteria/food employees. expansion of federal school lunch laws under the obama plan means increased enrollment for the seiu and higher wages, increased benefits and "Cadillac"-type health care, guaranteed by the government, for low income cafeteria workers. the seiu has sent members to public schools in several states to browbeat parents into supporting this labor agenda of theirs. curb childhood obesity? please. the seiu doesn't care about childhood obesity. they care about increased membership and padding their bank accounts. obama is indebted to the seiu and is shameless in his efforts to appease them. by the way, did you hear? obama wants to appoint seiu president andy stern to the federal deficit panel.

Ezza, based on the interview, Michelle's premise is that educating parents and working with schools to talk about affordability and availability is a key to fighting a crisis. A crisis that affects 27% of black girls.

When Huckabee asked FLOTUS about your criticism that this is gov't telling us what to do FLOTUS responded by saying that this isn't gov't intervention because a one-size fits all solution is not the answer. She went on to say that gov't, schools, parents, community leaders etc should all work in tadem to tackle this problem. She believes in encouraging state and local officials to design a plan that works for their respective areas.

Free market rule did nothing to help banish artety-clogging trans fat from foods. Do you know what did? The assistance of big bad socialist government which occured during the Bush Adminstration.

US leads the world in obesity rates. Free market rule has changed the fact that we lead even Mexico in obesity rates. If you have a solution, we would all like to read it. Criticizing without that addition sounds Tea Partylike.

SEIU is a labor organization. They fight on behalf of their members in pushing for policies that will benefit - their members. Campaign contributions are a huge part of that. Most NFL owners are Republicans. Most NRA members are Republicans. All NOW members are women. Point here is that all of them use every resource available to them which in turn allows them to lobby congress and ultimately (for the very few) have a seat at the President's table. Clearly you aren't aware of that. But, that's how politics work. There is power in money. .

I doubt that you can find an organization in the entire US that hasn't had corrupt members or use aggressive tactics to push their agendas. I do not know what social services "reforms" the SEIU was against. What I do know is that increased membership is a main goal of any organization that hopes to prosper.

Since you won't research it anywhere else, the SEIU isn't behind the FLOTUS's "Let's Move" initiative, they are one of several components I mentioned in my earlier response clarifying for the unread, what her position was. You can continue to say that they are "behind" it all. That will not make it true. Tea Partiers also contend that the POTUS isn't a US citizen. Repeating such silliness will not make it true.

i understand fairly well how politics work. i understand what the seiu is. and here's my problem: they don't simply fight for better benefits on behalf of their members. they attempt to destroy businesses that resist their efforts to recruit their workforces. they do so even in cases where that workforce has voted not to join the ranks of the seiu. they bring unjust cases against businesses that can't afford to defend themselves against a lengthy litigation and the seiu's seemingly bottomless cash supply. these aren't talking points, they're fact. are you suggesting that this type of activity is acceptable in the name of recruiting new members? is extortion a resource an organization should be using to obtain a seat at the President's table? are you justifying presidential appointments of members of corrupt organizations, some of whom are under investigation themselves, to various government boards by suggesting that all organizations in the us are corrupt? Obama's choice for the NLRB, Craig Becker, has penned articles in which he states that the NLRB, the very board to which Obama wished to appoint him, would be the arena to amend labor regulations in favor of unions without congressional approval. anna burger was appointed to the economic recovery advisory board, where she's in a position to boost seiu membership by imposing amended employment regulations on companies. i understand politics, i understand what the seiu is. and i don't like this apparent marriage of big labor to the office of the potus and all of its implications. you're entitled to your own political ideology. as for let's move, the seiu long ago lobbied congress to reauthorize the child nutrition act and increase funding by billions. they launched a related campaign in january of this year, it's quite easy to find if you're of the mind to do so. they stand to make truckloads of money from it's implementation. explain to me how they're not behind let's move. to suggest that the seiu's connection to let's move is akin to some birther's charge that obama isn't a us citizen is simply ridiculous and a laughably misplaced comparison. and for the record, i'm not a big fan of the nra or most republicans either.

I see you keep focusing on Becker. But, are you really being intellectually honest here since the "article" you mention was written while he was a law professor back in 1993? By basic math's standards, that is roughly 17 years ago. You don't believe he should a member of the board because of 17-yr old article which has since clarified his position that all such actions must go through Congress.

The PERB has members spanning across industries. William Donaldson, former SEC Chair, a republican is one as well as the CEO's of GE and UBS. If you read just a bit more, you would understand that the Board has leaders from labor, business, academia. But you don't think that the Secretary of SEIU should be included? Advisory board advise, they come up with Recommendations. They don't and rather can't "impose" policies as you suggest. I haven't looked at SEIU's position closely but how does supporting a program that encourages companies (who provide nutritional services to children) to raise their nutritional standards FOR kids? That's what the Child Nutrition Act did.

You're attempting to draw a conclusion without supporting evidence. CAR was first enacted back in 1966 and like all such acts, it requires reauthorization, which almost always include an increase in funding. Has SEIU been planning "Let's Move" since 1966? Why wouldn't they support the FLOTUS's initiative? I wouldn't care if the NRA or Family Research Council were behind Let's Move. This isn't about them. It's about our kids expanding waistlines.

I am very encouraged by Mrs. Obama's campaign to get people to eat more healthFUL foods. There is a very serious epidemic of obesity that is not limited to the U.S. If Mrs. Obama can change dietary habits so that people will eat more healthFUL foods and less junk food, people will be much more healthy.

midwest - where did i suggest that unions, or the seiu specifically, shouldn't exist? you haven't addressed any of the issues i referenced, you simply attempt to use redirection and your healthy imagination to avoid the issues. the seiu is definitely a rogue organization, but i can't understand how you're trying to relate that to some imaginary idea you've attributed to me that unions shouldn't exist. so what becker's article is 17 years old? he wrote it. and the article is not the only basis on which becker should be disqualified from serving in any capacity on a government board or panel. he was a player in laying the intellectual foundation for the employee free choice act. i won't get into how the efca and the nlrb are connected. if you don't know, look it up. becker's position is far to the left of current law and the senate agrees. they defeated becker's nomination in a bipartisan vote. obama's labor secretary is telling unions that they'll soon receive good news with respect to the nomination of becker to the nlrb. it appears that our transparent president is prepared to announce a recess appointment of becker to the nlrb after the seui announced that they're going to spend truckloads of money in the 2010 cycle on obama's pet, pro-big labor candidates. last year the seiu lobbied the obama administration to get involved in a dispute between the seiu and the state of california. the obama administration then threatened to withhold billions of dollars in federal stimulus money intended for california unless arnold started to see things the seiu's way. several representatives of the seiu were invited to participate, and did participate, in the call between the feds and california in which those billions of dollars of stimulus money due california were discussed. explain to me again how the seiu has no influence with the obama administration. i understand fairly well how appointments to government boards and panels work and the diverse spectrum of people from various industries appointed to them. you seem to be completely ignorant of the fact, willfully i believe, that the seiu has a seriously radical agenda that should not be influencing executive decisions made by the white house as payback for the $60+ million in campaign contributions (in addition to the millions more pledged for the 2010 cycle). my objection is not to having labor reps on these boards. my objection is to obama's shameless payback appointments of radical members of the seiu to these boards. you claim not to have looked closely at the seiu's position, then you accuse me of drawing conclusions without the facts. you, in fact, are the one drawing conclusions without the facts. the seiu is not behind the initiative for the sake of the initiative. given all the facts, one might conclude that 'let's move' is an obama front to enable the seiu in their big labor efforts to socialize america and to fatten their wallets through increased membership courtesy of let's move. millions of dollars of those increased dues will end up in obama's hands, not in support of the seiu's dues paying members or in their shrinking pensions. it's called payback. you want your kids to be slim and healthy, teach them to eat right. parents should be accountable, but we want to put the responsibility in the hands of cafeteria workers? what good is an apple a day at school when the parent of obese children are feeding them kfc and mcdonalds every night for dinner and three times a day on weekends? i'm tired of supporting the dependent class and not ashamed to say it. i'm accountable for the health and safety of my own family, as we all should be. you have so much to say on so many issues, but you say nothing of relevance to the issues. it seems that your arrogance is exceeded only by your ignorance.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass' favor.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like 'Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of "neighbors" will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune "Social" is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
