New York City fried chicken joints under fire for using Obama name

I guess all other problems in the city have been solved, so these idiots will protest to get themselves on camera. Funny... their using the Obama name as well to get in front of the camera. Where's Al Sharpton! Maybe Jesse Jackson can ask for more money to not protest. That's how he got all his millions anyway.

I guess they gotta have a gimmick to make money. Hope it works. People and businesses are desperate nowdays.

Kind of funny since I doubt if someone like Obama who is a health food type would even eat fried chicken! But, folks have to get that hustle on when and how they can.

Popeye's Chicken is named after a WHITE character. KFC's uses the image of a WHITE man (Colonel Sanders). So why is it racist to name a chicken restaurant after a dark skinned person? I think it's the other way around. It's racist to not be able to name a chicken restaurant, after who ever you want to.

There is OBAMA EVERYTHING from key chains, Bobbleheads, cartoon books, Chiapets etc so now Black leaders are upset that no Black business thought to use Obama's name in this way. Black businesses need to stop watching what other people are doing and making millions off of Obama name and start creating the same business ventures in our communities that can employ our people at the grassroots level. The poor are getting poorer with each day of the Obama administration.

Let's be serious here; is it really necessary for everyone to profit off of our new President. I am not the biggest conspiracy theorist, but how convenient for someone else to profit off of a Black Man. Isn't it the way of this world, a Black man works for it, puts in the labor, and effort and someone else gets to reap the reward? I grew up in Harlem and I have lived since then in other predominately Black populated urban neighborhoods and I am familiar with those Chicken restaurants, if that is what you want to call them. They are normally owned and operated by Arabs. Not to say that they aren't pro Obama, but more than likely they are exploiting his popularity amongst Blacks in those communities. The problem isn't the exploitation; it's the outrage at the oldest trick in the book. Get hip people, or at least get knowledgeable. This is just How.I.See.It!!
