Closet Cases with Lloyd Boston Should NOT Be Kept In the Closet
Nathan Hale Williams | Posted April 13, 2009 11:26 PM
Another makeover show. For real? There are a myriad of makeover shows that since their invention attempt to reinvent the wheel. They attempt. They also fail. However, what's been missing is a true talent at the helm who is not only engaging, but also entertaining. Lloyd Boston (Oprah, The Today Show, The View) serves up a fresh look at the makeover show with his new show, Closet Cases on the Fine Living Channel.
"Nice, a red door...good karma".... "You wanna be less Maryann and more Ginger".... "That separates the ladies who lunch from the ladies who launch." The reason why these quips work for Lloyd is because they are genuine. Boston is at once, polished and sincere. You know he means what he says; he just says it with a flair. The same flair that has made him a Today Show regular, a favorite of Queen Oprah and one of the few things on which the quarreling ladies of The View agree.
Lloyd is the king of style and the prince of elegance. And, it shows on his brand new show. I admit pessimism when I was first confronted with the idea of yet another makeover show. But, Lloyd Boston and Closet Cases have added something fresh and unique to this genre of reality programming. Most importantly, if you're feeling fabrically challenged and have been yearning to unleash your inner fashionista Closet Cases provides not only great entertainment, but helpful advice. It's a don't miss. Lloyd Boston is a hit!
Closet Cases airs on the Fine Living Channel on Mondays at 10 p.m. EDT.
