NYC baker celebrates inauguration with 'Drunken Negro Head' cookies

Via Think Progress: A New York City bakery made famous by "Sex and the City" celebrated President Barack Obama's inauguration with cookies that depicted racist caricatures. The Lafayette French Pastry Bakery in Greenwich Village has been selling "Drunken Negro Head" cookies that feature an enormous nose, huge red eyes, and thick, oversized lips.
"Would you like some 'Drunken Negro Heads' to go with your coffee?" owner Ted Kefalinos asked a customer. Another customer reports the baker used less flattering language and the "N word." When confronted by a local FOX reporter on hidden camera, Kefalinos claimed the "Drunken Negro Head" cookie is "not unflattering" but "it's a fun face."
Customers report the racist cookies came with vague, ominous hints of assassination. "They're in honor of our new president," the baker reportedly told several patrons. "He's following in the same path of Abraham Lincoln. He will get what's coming to him."
And all this time you thought it was just the rednecks in Texas and Georgia who sold racist Obama novelty items.
