Illinois Governor Arrested on Corruption Charges

In an effort to block comment spam, we launched a new spam filter a few weeks ago and we are still making adjustments to make it work properly. For future reference, any comments that (1) use profanity, (2) use common words found in spam (e.g., viagra, cialis, poker, etc.), or (3) include HTML links are automatically delayed by the system and sent to the moderator for approval before they are published.

In addition, some other comments are sent to the moderator if the system detects irregular activity by the poster's IP address.

This is a sad, sad, day in Illinois. I feel for the people of Illinois. Fun a shine of glory to the dullness of gloom. Why don't people understand that the days of corruption is over, with all the new technology out here, it would be very very difficult to get away with anything. Big Brother is everywhere, all the personal camera phones, microphones,satellite is everywhere. Get Real, only those who pay or have connection get away with things!!!!

Lots of potential Senators, Illinois politicians are chiming in on this. Larry King tonight has 2 Illinois Congress members. However Jesse Jackson Jr. has not said a word. Hummmmm? I am 100% sure larry king cnn invited him on the show, I am sure lots of people are looking for him, to ask him some questions. What are the chances Jackson Jr is on tape with this guy negotiating out a deal? Why Jackon's silence while lots of other candidates in the running are talking to the press, expressing their shock and outrage? Methinks there's something up with this....

Anyone serious would know that this this man is not dealing with a full deck of intergrity. I look forward to Ms. Caroline Kennedy or Nanny from Flushing the Nanny name Fran! Two very different women who could fill Hillary's shoes in two very differnt ways. I will say it is like night and day between these two women, one vocal and the message heard with quiet confidence and grace like hern mother and the other loud with a heavy NY Accent, yet don't underestimate her ability to make her points heard with a nitch of her own...short dress's and all. I believe the best women candidate will get the job and that Gov. Patterson will use his best judgement and pick the best candidate that will serve the people and make sound decisions for the tax payers.
