Stars come out for Obama in closing weekend
Staff Reporter | Posted November 3, 2008 1:33 AM
Beyonce, Jay-Z, Mary J Blige, Diddy, Bruce Springsteen, Russell Simmons, Ben Affleck, Hill Harper, Mathew Broderick and numerous other stars spent the weekend stumping for Senator Barack Obama.
Although Senator John McCain has complained about Obama's "celebrity" in the past, the GOP nominee brought out his own star power over the weekend, campaigning with California Governor and former actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Many of the stars for Obama -- including Beyonce, Jay-Z, Mary J Blige, Sean "Diddy" Combs and Russell Simmons -- campaigned together in Florida. Meanwhile, "the Boss," Bruce Springsteen, performed for a huge Obama rally in Ohio, and Ben Affleck expressed his support as the host of NBC's "Saturday Night Live."
Many of the stars appeared before a crowd of about 800 people at Florida Memorial University for a "Last Chance for Change" rally Sunday afternoon, according to the Associated Press.
The Obama campaign posted a slew of photos on its Flickr page over the weekend. Here are some of those photos...

And finally, Bruce Springsteen rocks for 80,000 Obama supporters in the rain.
