Secretary of State Hillary Clinton?
Or would that be Supreme Court Justice Hillary Clinton?
Or could it be Senate Majority Leader Hillary Clinton?
The buzz on the street in Washington lately is that Clinton may be tapped by her former rival to serve in a top Cabinet spot in an Obama Administration as Secretary of State. That would give the New York senator an international platform to represent the Obama Administration and the United States to the world.
But despite days of rumors, the Obama transition team has remained tight-lipped about a Clinton appointment. Senator Clinton was in Chicago on Thursday and, according to one media report, met with the president-elect at his office.
"The motorcade of Clinton, who receives Secret Service protection as a former first lady, was seen leaving the office complex shortly before Obama left for the day," the Associated Press reported. A Clinton spokesman referred questions from AP to the Obama transition team, which said it had no comment.
Some of the other names being thrown about include Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson and Republican Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska.
Al Kamen of The Washington Post reports "increasing chatter in political circles that the Obama camp is not overly happy with the usual suspects." He cited Kerry, Richardson and Hagel, but also included former senator Sam Nunn, a conservative Democrat from Georgia.
Kamen wrote that picking Clinton "would go a long way toward healing remaining divisions within the Democratic Party after the contentious primaries." But some readers who commented on the article questioned his logic, suggesting that the party was already united after the successful presidential election, in which Senator Clinton actively campaigned for Obama.
When asked if she would take a position, Clinton reportedly said that she was happy in the Senate but wants to be "a good partner" to the new president, according to a report from Voice of America News.

Hillary should be nowhere near Obama's cabinet. Let her be a great Senator or make a run for governor of NY.

Anonymity you do have a point didn't she admit to "stretching the truth" about coming under fire in a foreign country in some book she wrote?

What I like to do is offer a converse opinion, read the person's response to it, read someone else's response to something I never said to them (like you for some example), respond back, then be accused of having an obessive compulsive disorder.
You and some others have a thing for voluntarily inserting yourselves (many times negatively) into conversations where your names are not even mentioned. Yet, expect me to not respond or if I do, be nice about it. Try not responding in the first place and you will not have to be the one to, in your words, feed into my manic disorder.
