Joe Lieberman Lucks Out Again

Sen. Joe Lieberman was a Democrat when he was the running mate of Al Gore in 2000. When he ran for office he also ran to retain his Senate seat. This way if they lost, which they did, he would still have a job. He is a lucky guy.

In 2006 Barack Obama campaigned for him and he still lost the primary. So what did he do? He ran as an Independent and he won. He continued to caucus with the Democrats. During th 2008 election he supported John McCain. He even gave a speech at the Republican convention. He was a McCain attack dog and he did not mind going for Barack Obama's jugular.

Well McCain lost. Finally Lieberman will get his comeuppance. Senate majority leader Harry Reid wanted to strip him of Chairmanship of the Homeland Security Committee. This guy is finally going to get what he deserves.

Not so fast. Barack Obama says don't do it. This guy wins again. He has no allegiance to anyone other than himself, but he is one lucky guy.
