I don't understand why anyone is even interviewing his irrelevant ass. Why would anyone even ask him about foreign policy?

Jesse Jackson has always been about promoting himself. Can we ALL (the human race) get together and request/demand that Jesse simply go someplace and sit down (as in retire). He's had his extended 15 minutes in the spotlight and now it is time for him to ride off into the sunset. He is no longer relevant and starting to say things that makes one question his mental stability. TO THE MEDIA: Please do us all a favor and stop putting a microphone in his face asking Jesse to comment on anything. I'm sure his son is getting tired of having to clean up his Father's mess.

For those of you who do not live in NYC allow me to inform you about just how irrelavant the NY Post itself is. At least three days per week directly across from Macys at 34th and 7th ave, 34th and Broadway, 125th and Malcolm X, several points in Queens and Brooklyn you do not even have to buy the NY Post. Not only do they give it away but people walk right by and for the most part will not take a free paper. So what do they resort to? Since they have lowered the price of this good for nothing but cleaning up dog shit paper to 25 cents they go and dig up this irrelavent fool and stop the free give-away just for the day he appears in it. And they wonder why white folks in long island sued their ass for littering their lawns with there free paper giveaway. LOL is there anything I missed or should go on further with?

The problem, Bob, is that most people don't know that the NY Post is basically trash. In any case, people aren't going to remember the name of the paper that quoted Jackson, they're only going to remember what he said.

Though I don't relate to the Jewish Religion (or any man-made religion), I consider Israel to be a mirror of the United States, no more racist than this place.

My support of Israel is strictly "Strategic," because I want the South Sudanese and Darfur to achieve liberation from Arab Muslim Imperialism...and as a consequence, I support any nation that is against the Islamic Arab Empire.

Jesse Jackson once claimed that there was no slavery in Sudan and basically backed up the EVIL LIES of DENIAL that Louis Farrakhan espoused about Black African suffering in Sudan.

He has since changed his tune--no doubt due to the pictures from Darfur.

But I'm not surprised that Jesse Jackson--who wanted Obama castrated--would make such an irresponsible comment as this.

One of my main reasons for supporting Barack Obama is because he doesn't govern "Emotionally" and seems to realize that STRATEGY means one doesn't necessarily have to like their allies.

Most Black Americans don't understand that way of thinking. They think everything is about "liking" somebody or some country....rather than getting the support you need from that country to build your own country and protect yourself from IMMEDIATE PREDATORS (ie. the Evil Arab states).

I doubt very seriously that OBAMA will be stupid enough to continue this irrational AA hatred for Israel.

I know it'd be psychotic to hate white or brown children. But that's what you wrote once or at least what many of us read from you, dear. You wrote you'd never let half white babies get out of your womb alive, because they are the wrong colour for you. That is what I call hate. Besides this love-or-hate for half to white babies, I dont know who Koola is. But I have a feeling that you are not always direct. But when you are being direct you are sparkling. Sometimes I sense undertones in your writing that you are for a bit too self aware about making a name for yourself through your writings. To this I'd like to offer unsolicited advice, which would be: just write and write well and honestly tell your stories, and that's it. The rest will sort itself out. Great writers, like great philosophers and artists do not pay that kind of attention to audience responses - to an extent that it overshadows their love for what they do. So even if I discovered Koola the writer 10 years after your death, you must be excited that I will. Irrespective of whether I will or not appreciate your prose, but maybe your courage or faith and hope, etc. So dont worry I or anyone else for that matter has not read your book today. That worry can easily slip through your pages and spoil the colours of your books forever.

As she so kindly pointed out--any gay person who claims that I'm homophobic has obviously not read my books or witnessed the Campaign against me on the basis that my books "promote homosexuality" in Africa.

I'm sad that people are unable to understand me or relate to me.

In my true heart...I don't dislike ANYONE and as an artist expressing my pain publicly...

I don't intentionally mean to hurt or annoy anyone. What I do think is that people CLAIM they want "truth" "honesty" etc. but they come unraveled and feel threatened when someone does it.

I am appalled by this discussion. I'd just like to know why the editor does not edit out these vulgar and disgusting posts. It does nothing but cheapen this website. Even if some people have no personal dignity, the Daily Voice must preserve its own, and that of the serious people who post here, without the cover of fake names. Just a thought...

I think Obama did so well in the debate last night that it's completely over-swept the Jackson incident.

I also think because it's the NY POST who reported this story; and because Jackson so vehemently denies it; it isn't able to grow legs. Thank the lord.

Let me say, not everyone wants to be a popular writer. And I believe there's no such a thing as a failed writer, like there is no such a thing as a failed artist. But then again you live in a consumption driven culture of pretty little messed up american. We may be world aparts, morally speaking.

So, be assured that I am not an embarrased failed gay writer. I would not want to be a gay writer. I have zero vested interests to promote or protect myself. Some people, even quite young ones, are content writing for free purely as academics. So: you have a weekend that you deserve sweetness.
