Video: Kanye West arrested at LAX

Recording artist Kanye West was arrested in Los Angeles on Thursday for an altercation with a photographer at the airport.

West, reportedly shown in the TMZ.com video below with a hooded sweatshirt, was arrested along with his bodyguard for destroying a photographer's expensive camera in the confrontation.

The incident took place after West arrived at LAX to take a flight to Hawaii, according to the Associated Press. The rapper was later released and allowed to go onto a private jet to Hawaii.

"I'm cool with the paparazzi," West said in a brief blog message posted on his official site. "This guy wasn't cool... I'll rant later."

The Paps get whatever they deserve. Lindsay Lohan elbowed some pap the other day. I say 'oh well'. They have gotten outrageous with hounding these celebs. It's just a matter of time before we have another Princess Diana situation.
