can you people clarify your heading.The man is a WHITE PRIEST who gets invited from time to time to Obama's church. HE IS NOT A PASTOR, HE IS A CATHOLIC PRIEST.

He was right and he simply called out the 400 lb elephant in the middle of the room. Hilary was suffering from white entitlement. She di completely expect to sweep her way to the white house. The man told the truth!! I dont begrudge Obama for denouncing his comments as he had to do with Rev. Wright. Obama understands that comments like that are destructive because there are elements of society who dont understand where these frustrations and viewpoints originate from. Rev. Obama did not denounce Wright, Farrakhan and Pfleger until given no choice. Obama denounced those maniacs only for political expediency. Many Americans are worried Obama secretly shares the viewpoints of Wright, Farrakhan and Pfleger. Many Americans are concerned Obama is a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde who will display his true colors once in the Oval Office. Those concerns of Americans are legitimate whether or not their concerns are valid. Some claim ten second media clips do not represent those men. Some claim all should consider those men's lifelong words rather than their periodic hateful rants. This does not work and makes not a cow lick of common sense. When Hilary says that she can pull the white hard working vote many came here and defended her saying that she was just stating a fact. So now when Rev. Michael Pfleger says that white people were crying because Bilary is losing to a black men then all of sudden all the folks agreeing with him are racist. I just dont get it. This country has a well documented history of racism and oppression. It is no secret that black people continue to be victims of prejudice and second class citizenship. The majority ruling class in this country has become quite crafty in expressing its racist, sexist, and homophobic attitudes. Racism is not dead and there are a lot of folks who are simply unable to pull themselves up by the bootstraps and carry on. And I want to say that I for one was very supportive of Hilary early on in this process. It was not that I needed white people to tell me it was okay to vote Obama. I simply did not see clear differences between he and Hilary. I was a huge Bill Clinton fan and for years wished he could run again. But something happened, Hilarys dissappointment on Super Tuesday came across as bitterness and suddenly Bill started injecting slight innuenedos and Geraldine Ferraro starting injecting race and Hilary looked to me like a scorned person who had something stolen from them; something that they owned. The Clinton arrogance and , dare I say it, entitlement started to show. I was turned off. I also noticed that Barack was not stooping to her level. He kept talking about issues and solutions. He started to look presidential to me. I beleived he was genuine, transparent, and an agent of change! I'llm say it again, Bill and Hilary have been an absolute train wreck in this primary season. When they lose they will only have themselves and their arrogance to blame; not to mention a poorly ran campaign.

I have no idea what church Bill and Hilary went to for twenty years and I certainly dont know about John McCain. What I do know is that I have taken to listening to Rush Limbaugh every afternoon because he is comically ridiculously entertaining and because I cant get any other station in my office. As we all know he is a conservative fanatic and I have heard all sorts of racist sexist comments on his show. Though the conservatives are not big fans of McCain I can only imagine the types of discussions that go on behind closed doors of powerful white men. Huckabee may have given us a glimpse at the NRA convention. Point is we are not privvy to those conversations. Until very recently, Pfleger was a member of the Obama campaign staff, a member hand selected by Obama. Pfleger has and does pull in a lot of campaign money for Obama, currently and years past. Obama arranged a quarter of a million in grants for Pfleger and his church. David Axlerod, who is Obama's number one advisor, is filming a documentary about Pfleger, a complimentary documentary. Farrakhan, Wright and Pfleger all preach a Marxist based philosophy, which opposes democracy. Obama describes Pfleger as friend for decades and Obama describes Pfleger as one of his spiritual mentors. Obama has in the past said the same of Farrakhan and Wright. Why has our American media not touched upon those topics? I would think a presidential candidate who grants political favors to Marxist leaning preachers, I would think a presidential candidate whose spiritual mentors preach Marxism, I would think this would greatly alarm Americans and I would think the media would be all over this. He believes in relatively modest government intervention in the economy by the standards of most industrialized democracies and not even within shouting distance of Soviet Style communism. How much of a social safety net do you want for the poor,seniors and people who might be unemployed? Do you want to stay in Iraq until the war is "won" and keep spending or do you think we have spent enought? Do you think the US interests is best served by talking to enemies or by having a more threatening posture and not talking? Do you think the US should torture terror suspects or is it contradictory to American values? These are the issues we are debating in this election. We are not debating Black Nationalism or Marxism or despotism vs. democracy. Ask yourself the questions above and maybe then we can have a debate. I have an opinion about those but to conclude we are debating Marxism in the current election is either a plain falsehood!

I try to keep my words to myself, as they can always be used in the future by some who would try to pin me in a corner (LOL)… By the way, for those of you who don't like long prose, I suggest that you either get a snack or drink and take this in with an open mind and contrite heart... I just must mention that there are multiple standards by which our candidates are being measured. You have class, gender, race, and age all being taken into account already. Then add affiliations (presumed and/or proven) into the mix and you have a lot of mess to sift through in order to make an informed decision. There are many who will vote based on emotions and commonalities...or should I say FAMILIARITY...as opposed to making a fully fair, balanced, and informed decision. It is up to those of us who are educated, talented, and well-versed to choose the moral high road and educate from the stance of non-bias in order to give those who may not be so advanced in the ability, desire, or even time to make the same kind of choices in the best interest of not only one's self, but the world in general. Americans (I am one, just so that you know) need to face reality and know that we are paying for the sins of our "forefathers". Call it a Generational Curse (borrowing a colloquialism from the Black Church, where I grew up), but it is true. It is also true that America was built on the basis of many if not all "-isms" in order for the wealthy to be comfortable and remain in power. America has a history of being conditioned into a systematic order that embeds the theory of "tomorrow will be better..." or "a savior will save US (US being a group of frustrated and usually oppressed group in any given setting)", thus promoting the masses to give up their personal power and to submit whatever gifting and knowledge that we have to a master that does not serve our best interests, but their own...and ONLY their own. Just to clarify: A Roman Catholic priest may also be a pastor. It means he is the priest in residence who heads a specific parish and ministers to its congregation. Pfleger is described in news reports as "the longtime pastor of St. Sabina Roman Catholic Church."

Pfleger never shouldn't had to apologized for anything he said. I wished more white clergy men were more upfont and honest about issues like race and class.
